As a trainee for machining mechanic, you will learn how to transform metal into precision components for future technologies using state-of-the-art CNC machines. At HSP, you’re right in the middle of it from day one:

  • Setting up, programming and operating CNC turning and milling machines
  • Machining workpieces for wind turbines, mechanical engineering and high-tech industries
  • Testing and ensuring quality – you make high-tech possible
  • Planning and monitoring production processes
  • Maintaining, inspecting and carrying out minor repairs on machines

In short: You create parts without which many technologies of tomorrow would not work at all.

Application process

Simply online via our application form or by email to bewerbung@hsp-components.com. Your resume is sufficient for now – you can submit certificates and cover letters later.

For the start of training on 08/01/2026, we recommend applying by spring 2026 at the latest.

After reviewing your application, you will receive an invitation to an interview or assessment. There you will get to know us and we will check whether the profession suits you – in a very uncomplicated way.

Training process & content

You start at the BZI vocational college in Remscheid with basics, socio-educational support, and prevention courses. After that, you go directly into practice at HSP – your training mentor will introduce you step by step.

You work on CNC machines, program and process workpieces for wind power, mechanical engineering, and high-tech applications, check the quality, and get to know the entire production chain.

Regularly, you will be fully trained after 3.5 years.

No – you combine craftsmanship with PC work on modern CNC machines. Precise work is required, not heavy physical work.

Requirements & skills

At least a qualified secondary school certificate, technical interest, manual skills, and spatial imagination.

Basic technical affinity is sufficient – you will learn everything else practically at HSP.

In addition to specialist training, you will learn, for example, how to handle money, use social media consciously, road safety, and team communication – skills that make you strong even outside of training.

Remuneration & benefits

At HSP, we pay according to the metal tariff. For you, this means that you already earn over €1,000 gross in the 1st year, plus vacation and Christmas bonuses.
